What are the supplements you found best for exhaustion after manopause which are not so expensive?

I’m looking for advice on supplements that can help with exhaustion after menopause. I’d love to hear what affordable options others have tried and found effective.

There are so many products out there, and it’s a bit overwhelming to know what actually works without spending a fortune.

If you’ve had good results with certain vitamins, minerals, herbal supplements, or any other natural remedies, please share your experiences.

I’m particularly interested in options that boost energy, improve overall well-being, and are gentle on the budget.

Any recommendations for trusted brands or tips on what to look for would also be really helpful.

      Thank you!

If you haven’t done bloodwork, do that first including vitamin deficiencies.

I take a multivitamin which covers my B vitamins and C vitamins. I’m low in vitamin D, so I take 2 D3 vitamins per day.

Are you eating a lot of carbohydrates at any given meal?
A spike in sugar can make you sleepy.

It’s more likely what happens to many families after thanksgiving dinner because the high volume of carbohydrates consumed at once.

Between corn, potatoes, sweet potatoes, bread, dressing/stuffing, beverages, dessert…it’s the perfect recipe, pun intended, for carb overload.

As a T2 diabetic, I have to watch meals such as this because it can spike ANY person, but especially someone who needs to watch their sugar.

My OB/GYN recommended Super B complex, a good multivitamin and Black Cohosh. All over the counter.

It took about 4 to 6 months, but it really helped.

If you take any other medications, you will want to consult your own OB/GYN and your pharmacist to make sure that there aren’t any contraindications with your other medications.

My husband takes natural electrolytes from the brand ‘Just ingredients’. My nutritionist friend told me to mix 1/4 teaspoon Celtic salt with a quart of water every day and drink that.

Also, we drink protein drinks Premier Protein that we buy from Sam’s club. We like the chocolate and chocolate peanut butter flavor.

It’s low in added sugar. We also mix up this powder called Just Grasses and add some beet powder to that and drink it once a day.

We also take a good multivitamin and probiotics, turmeric, calcium, vitamin B6 and B12, garlic, vitamin D.

I also take Uqora for the ITI I always got. It has helped me. But I think the best thing you can do is exercise. And now, ten years out from the hysterectomy which ended it all, I feel so much better.

            It does get better!

B-12 shots, liquid vitamin D, NAD, beef liver, change to clean keto diet, walk daily, sunbathe, increase magnesium levels to help sleep issues.

CBD full spectrum for me o- rage.

Exhaustion I’ve had to increase my vit. B, it’s multi vit B so I get all of the B’s in!! Some days I take 3 pills to keep me going when I need extra energy.

It helps. Plus, I’ll take a Choline supplement. That really helps me be alert, awake and not get tired.

Others don’t have the same reaction to Choline.

Nothing! I suffered for 10 years, finally bit the bullet and went on hormones.

It’s not cheap but when I think of the misery I endured over 10+years, I would pay double to get those sleepless nights back.

Nothing else worked and frankly I probably spent more money chasing a solution.

Sublingual B12 in addition to the regular supplements. 5000mcg start with 1. Take 2 or 3 daily as needed. B12 does not accumulate, it washes out in your urine whatever you do not need.

It needs to be sublingual so it goes directly into your bloodstream. And it is a lifesaver. It’s great to get a shot, but expensive.

I buy mine at Costco. Try not to take it every single day, or your body will miss it when you don’t have it. Be MODERATE in all your supplements.

Creatine gummies can also give you stamina and help with concentration and focus. But you will miss the boost you get from them if you take them every day then quit.

At 70 I enjoy both. I also enjoy mushroom coffee. It has some healthy properties although pricey.

I prefer MUD/WTR as it tastes Iike chai tea.

Stay moving if you want energy. Stretch too…old age is a blessing but will challenge you to do right for your body, and show you where you failed in the past.

Iron & Synthroid. Get your iron levels & thyroid checked. Probably a full blood panel…when I was younger, I ate cake & chocolate for my meals & it never affected my energy levels but now that I’m older, I find if I don’t have the right vitamins then I’m exhausted.

For me…. I never took vitamins regularly unless I was pregnant or nursing. I’m anemic so most all of the iron meds upset my digestive system.

Welllllll….. I’m at the point where I’ve HAD to take a multivitamin with iron and bc I haven’t it’s been such a help.

I do need more than that, bur baby steps lol. I do take magnesium amd b vitamins, gummiea bc mentally, it’s not a pill so it’s easier for me to keep in my routine.

Black Seed Oil. Liquid probably works quicker (like a week or so to really tell a difference) – – but it tastes like turpentine – – or what I imagine it tastes like since it smells like it.

I didn’t care – – I was desperate and took 1 tablespoon in the morning and chased it with cranberry juice.

They make capsules also, which I take 2 of instead of the liquid.

If you are going to try it, at least read reviews and find a good quality supplement.

With the cheap ones, sometimes you get what you pay for. Hope you feel better soon!

                              I’m just starting Adrenal supplements.
                              I’m really hoping they help.

                              I’m desperate. Always exhausted.

I’ve been using Native Hydrate and feel it’s helping my energy.

You can find it on Amazon.
