Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to get some advice on how to reduce my home insurance premium. Are there any practical steps or strategies that have worked for you? I’m particularly interested in things like home improvements, policy adjustments, or any discounts I might not be aware of.Also, if you know of any insurance companies that offer reasonable or competitive rates—especially ones that are easy to deal with—I’d appreciate your recommendations.
I know rates can vary by location and situation, but any suggestions or personal experiences would be really helpful as I start comparing options.
Thanks in advance for your input!
PamelaA local independent agent has access to multiple, good rated insurance companies. Definitely check there.
NO Geico or Progressive they drop you after a claim.
They also have to absorb their commercial costs which are passed on to the customers.
JodyWe have been debating on dropping our earthquake insurance which is the biggest part of our plan.
We live in Washington husband wants to keep it, I don’t.
MindyContact a local broker who represents a variety of companies. They should be able to show you some options.
DorseyIt’s a difficult market so switching over prices is a temporary fix You want a company that is big enough to pay in a disaster Check your deductible and take the most expensive u can afford Small claims will do you in anyway Watch the roof.
A lot of companies do not replace Be careful about this especially
