Looking at using the Bilt card for rent to get credit. Anyone have thoughts on this? You have to use it 5 times per month to get the true credit for this.
I can do that but not sure how it would compare against a chase card etc.
DaveYou used to be able to reload Amazon gift credit for $0.50 per transaction, but they upped the amount to where it’s not really worth it (for me at least, since I try to avoid Amazon whenever possible).
I just make five $0.01 payments to my sister-in-law (PayPal charges an extra $0.01 for the convenience) — the points I get from rent are definitely worth the $0.10 and three minutes I spent every month
DiyaI’ve had it for over a year. The downside is that it takes a 5/24 slot and the points accumulation for rent is 1:1.
That being said, I like it, since it allows me to get points for something I’m already paying for.
JeremyI’ve been using it for a year now. It’s pretty slick and easy and I’ve been happy with it.
The five transaction thing is a bit of a pain but they do send you a reminder if you’re getting close to cutoff date and haven’t got your five transactions.
Rent where I live is high so it’s been a great way to rack up points I would normally just miss.
ChristinaI use Bilt for my rent. I just make 5 really small Amazon purchases each month.
