If I have to start investing using Robinhood, what ETFs or individual stocks I should look into?

I’m new to investing and recently started using Robinhood. I’m looking for suggestions on good ETFs or individual stocks to start building my portfolio.

My main goals are long-term growth and learning more about the market as I go. I’d prefer investments that are relatively stable for beginners but still offer decent potential returns.

If you have experience with Robinhood or investing in general, I’d love to hear what you started with, what worked well for you, and any tips you might have for someone just getting started.

Are there particular sectors or companies you’d recommend for beginners?

Also, are there any ETFs that offer good diversification and low fees?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Avoid Robinhood: Stick with one of the Big 3: Fidelity, Schwab, or Vanguard

I would look at Fidelity Schwab or Vanguard… find a fund that mimics the S&P 500….

dump it all in there, keep dumping in there for decades, and forget about it for the next 30 to 35 to 40 years.

Do not use Robinhood. They are not for you. Look up GameStop example.

SPY or VTI. No individual stocks unless you know what you are doing

Robinhood is a great platform which allows you to buy Fractional shares (very convenient).

You can purchase VOO, Apple, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, NVDA all on sale now!!
