Where should a 29-year-old start? Life at 29 can feel both exciting and overwhelming, with many possibilities and decisions ahead.

ScottYou start by eliminating all of your consumer debt, and setting up an emergency fund.
Then if you have a 401k that matches, you contribute to match, then you open your own Roth IRA and contribute to it, choose voo to get you started when you are choosing an investment.
You should be living without debt and investing 10-15% of your income.
Lastly focusing on increasing your income will accelerate all of your goals.

HSA invested in VTI or VOO. You’ll be so far ahead of your peers doing these things.
