Marry someone like minded and with similar financial goals

You start by eliminating all of your consumer debt, and setting up an emergency fund.

Then if you have a 401k that matches, you contribute to match, then you open your own Roth IRA and contribute to it, choose voo to get you started when you are choosing an investment.

You should be living without debt and investing 10-15% of your income.

Lastly focusing on increasing your income will accelerate all of your goals.

Budget to find room to… Pay off high interest debt. Save up 3-6 month emergency fund. 401k match into VTI or VOO. Roth IRA Max into VTI or VOO.

            Max out Roth 401k.

HSA invested in VTI or VOO. You’ll be so far ahead of your peers doing these things.

Start by finding your “why”. If you know why you want financial independence, then you’ll be able to eliminate choices that don’t lead to that goal

Do you have high interest debt? Do you have a 401k with a match? Do you have a Roth?

Do you have an emergency fund?

Read “Set For Life” by Scott Trench over and over. That’s what really kickstarted the moves that changed my life

Make as much as you can, spend as little as you can, invest the rest.
