I am wondering if anyone has bought stamps thru an online store. I was buying them off of Etsy for $37.00, at the post office they are over $70.00.

This was for 100 stamps but since they don’t seem to be using PayPal, my choice for payment, I Googled it and found several stamp stores selling the same amount for under $30.00.

It sounds to good to be true.Is it?

I’ve bought the online ones several times. They’re not a scam, they work fine as postage, and if they’re counterfeit then the USPS doesn’t know and sends them through.

I have no reason to doubt them.

Counterfeit. Saw a Border Patrol show where they stopped illegal US postal stamps coming in from China.

If you are buying discounted stamps, you are cheating US postal service and sending $ to China.

I bought a roll of 100 forever stamps several years ago for around $15 on Amazon and have used them for anything that needed a stamp but mainly Christmas cards and have never had a problem with them being rejected.

I still have 25 that haven’t been used yet and they are no different than what you get at the post office.

I ordered and they are legit! I was skeptical at first but sent mail with the stamps and all went through and delivered.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is / they are counterfeit.

Discounted stamps are counterfeit and most likely coming from China.

If detected in the mail stream your mail with attached counterfeit stamp will be confiscated and destroyed as its considered fraud.

I was told by the postmaster that the stamps they are selling online that are really cheap…

will not go through the system… they are fraudulent

You can buy the roll of 100 and break them into smaller amounts and resell on ebay or etsy.

I’d never ever use so many stamps in my entire life- so I’d buy like 10 or so and be good for 20 years.

I guess if you need them in bulk then I’d just buy the legitimate post office stamps.

Those cheap ones aren’t going to work for postage

I’ve bought the rolls of stamps for way less than cost – usually $25-$30 a roll and they have all been fine.

Sometimes takes a while to get them, but I have never been stiffed and I have used them for years.

Have used four stamps in the last six years, but I don’t send Christmas cards.
