Erick
17 YO son wants to learn business. He’s a music major, loves investing, and has his own business.
Any recommendations on a good online business course to further his knowledge?
He’s done some research himself and is successful in his current business but wants more knowledge (taxes, marketing strategy, success tips, diversifying his portfolio, passive income etc…) no gimmicks
LaurenVisit the website for the local SBA or SBDC. They have lots of low cost or free training on starting and growing a business.
Another great resource is SCORE where he can get free mentorship from retired executives.
RickWebsites like the SBA (Small Business Administration) or SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) offer low cost or free online classes and webinars on various small business management topics.
Sometimes, they offer in-person classes.
CynthiaThe SBA will provide him with a free mentor. Most community college offer business courses.
JoeI did well in business, but I learned everything from books and from people. Also, good ol fashioned trial and error.
I didn’t take any business classes.
ValerieHave him take a dual enrollment college business class thru his high school.
BradIf he gets a job at Starbucks, he can go to Arizona State online for free. They have one of the top business schools in the country.
Good luck!
PerryUse A.i, it is the future of learning so he might as well get used to it.
