Got offered a summer job, as a camp host. Unfortunately don’t have an rv, camper & can’t afford one. Looking for frugal suggestions besides a regular tent on what to live in.

Ideally, something weather-resistant, comfortable for an extended stay, and easy to set up. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

What creative or budget-friendly solutions would you recommend?

Any advice on materials, structures, or setups that have worked well for you?

      Thanks in advance!

That is exciting but kind of sucks at the same time because hopefully the price you pay for somewhere that you can sleep doesn’t exceed the amount that you’re going to make it that makes sense.

Hopefully you can find something cheap.

I think the idea of car camping is kind of a good idea and then just get a little hibachi or something to cook on.

On you tube check our car camping… trying to remember a creative RV. She has a RV but talks a lot about others who do camping this in their car.

There are often really cheap RVs for sale. They’re old, and it might be hard to move them far, but I think you can find one.

Honestly, the place might have one you can use

Will you enough in thus job to pay for what is needed & have money left?

Personally ai would look for a different summer job where you can keep ALL the money.

How about car camping? Evan with a sedan, there are ways to make it sleepable if they have restrooms and a mess hall for use

Can you have a pop up? I see them on market place all the time for around a $1k.

Usually older and not perfect, but completely useable.

Market place has many options for tents. Look up Glamping. Chairs small table. Air mattresses are so nice for in a tent.

Best of luck. Go for it!

The garage/shed type thing from Harbor Freight? I have seen people live in them. But it will depend on campground rules.

If they want you they may have something to offer you.

They usually are tight about what you can host in. Not tents. No pop-ups. It has to be a camper usually less than 10 years old.

I have seen older models used though.
