Any help would be appreciated. I love wedge pillow. The dimensions are 38”W x 21” Tall x 13” Wide. It doesn’t have a zipper to take off the cover to wash.
A large pillowcase isn’t big enough. I’m not good at sewing. I could put a sheet around it but that’s a hassle.
Do they make pillowcases this size? or does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
ShirleyI slip a king sized pillow over from each side of my son’s body pillows.
If that is not long enough you can get an extra long body pillow case and slip a king sized pillow case on the open side to completely cover it.
DenniseMy daughter made a pillowcase with the fleece, like you make the tie blankets with.
She just tied 3 sides and left the one end open. Or you could try using the no-sew tape you iron on.
I use it to hem things sometimes, and for crafts. Should be pretty easy.
Works best on thinner fabrics like sheet type cotton, heavy fabrics don’t heat all the way through sometimes.
Marie2 king pillowcases, put one on from each end. They will overlap on center but will protect pillow.
IrenePeople make throws out of fleece fabric by cutting a fringe around the fabric and tying the fringe in knots.
Maybe you could get fleece cut to the length of the long side of your pillow and fold it lengthwise and cut the fringe on the 2 long sides and one short side and tie the sides together with the fringe strips and then turn it inside out.
AnnmarieYou can buy a Body pillow case and try it out. I know dimensions are 54”x20” so 1” shy but you probably squeeze the pillow into it.
Or try a fitted crib sheet and wrap it.
BetsyMaybe get two pillowcases and put one on each side it should cover the wedge pretty well.
PattiThose wedge pillows are common on daybeds. I bought covers back in about 1980 from Spiegel.
In the past few years I’ve bought the special zippered covers from J C Penney.
And Sears.
Diane90% sure either temu or SHEIN has covers designed to fit over these “special” pillows
MarlindaWe had similar but maybe a little smaller. We used a small fleece throw and small/medium safety pins to secure on back side.
