You can’t freeze it whole Instead, purée it into a liquid, then freeze it. While you won’t be able to enjoy your leafy greens in salads, you can use them in a variety of other recipes.

To begin, rinse the lettuce thoroughly under cool water, being sure to remove any sand or dirt.

If it’s head lettuce, remove all of the leaves from the core before washing. Then add to the jar of a blender and purée, loosening with cool water until you have a frothy, thick liquid. (It should be pourable).

Pour the blended greens into ice cube trays and freeze until solid. Remove each cube and store them in a freezer-safe zip-top bag until.

Don’t miss: I’m saying it here so it’s a commitment. No grocery shopping for the month of May

Yes, just put in a baggie and freeze it. After it’s frozen crush it to powder. Lasts forever. I use in smoothies every day with fresh ginger so can’t really taste it.

No but I’ve had grilled lettuce for dinner. Not sure what type you have, but a slight grill on romaine is amazing as a side dish drizzled with olive oil and placed on the grill for a quick grill on each side.

Sorry I’m not any help on the freezing.
