Anyone have experience with a toilet paper subscription? I’m thinking of eco-friendly style.

I’ve been thinking about switching to a toilet paper subscription to save time and reduce waste from regular store-bought brands.

I’m particularly interested in options that are eco-friendly—like those made from bamboo or recycled materials, and that come with minimal or plastic-free packaging.

If you’ve used one, I’d love to hear your experience. How was the quality and softness? Was the price reasonable compared to what you usually buy?

How reliable was the delivery? Also, were there any surprises—good or bad?

I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth making the switch, both for convenience and for sustainability reasons.

Any recommendations or things to watch out for would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks in advance!

I don’t remember what kind I get, but I have gotten mine on auto subscription for a little over 3 yrs via Amazon.

It is 50 rolls I believe for $60 or so.

From what I remember, there were a number of options back then.

We have to get the one that is septic safe.

I subscribe to an eco newsletter and just read that Amazon makes their branded toilet paper from clear cut trees…

I am going to do more research and if that checks out I’ll be cancelling.

We use WGAC. It’s probably not the cheapest tp, but it’s recycled and we gave up Amazon this year.

I was interested in buying bamboo tp but have read it clogged some toilets.

We always wait until the tp goes on sale.

I used to use Grove Collaborative but stopped when during the pandemic they switched to first come first served so those of us who had been customers for years on subscription were just left without.

                  So, I cancelled.
