Hi, What do you all use to take off greesy from kitchen wooden cabinets?

Grease buildup on kitchen wooden cabinets can be tough to remove without damaging the finish. What are some effective and safe methods or products you’ve used to clean grease from wooden cabinets?

Murphys oil soap and a steam cleaner. If they are super greasy put the oil soap on full strength and let it set for 5-10 minutes

I use sugar soap which lifts the caked on grease on the kitchen walls and cupboards perfectly.

Wash them with TSP, available at paint stores. It will remove all the grease.

                  Salt and oil
                  Mixed together into a paste
I’ve used tons of other cleaners, this works the best

In 1994, we bought a house that had greasy kitchen cabinets.
I started with Dawn dish soap and warm water, then finished with a degreaser purchased at a home improvement store.

Simple green. Can use it straight or diluted depending on the grease. Will need to rinse off no matter what you use.

I use Mrs Meyers multi surface cleaner. Spray it on let it sit for a minute or so and wipe off with a microfiber cloth. Buy the concentrate and use it on a lot of surfaces.

I even put it in my clothes washer for stinky loads.

Dawn power spray works quite well, don’t use too much though, you’ll be rinsing it forever

A little olive oil (I know it sounds counterintuitive), followed by Murphy’s Oil Soap.

I just did this! I mixed hot water with some dawn, and some white distilled vinegar.

I used a cloth and a brush. The cabinets look so much better!

Mix you up some dawn, dish soap, some vinegar, baking soda shake it up really really really good dab. You’re ragging it wipe your cabinet. Let it sit a little bit. Take a Mr.

clean sponge and it should come out pretty easy. Don’t scrub hard with the sponge because it don’t crumble.
