I save it until I am going on a trip and then cash it in. When the kids were younger I would split it between them for their spending money.

I used to save a lot more change. One time I saved change for over a year and had enough to buy a 350 dollar plane ticket! It was great!

I just turned in the bottle I put my change in and it was over $300. It was a bigger jar and took several years.

When my kids were little we would save and turn in once a year and do something special with it.

I cashed my change jar in about two weeks ago. A jar of change turned in to almost $225 in dollar bills. That will be used for Christmas presents.

We save our change & use it for our vacation. For the extras like activites, special foods that we would’t buy if we did not save the change.

Hate change. Started to give it to the Santa’s ringing their bell for Salvation Army. About $80.

For Christmas one year I saved all my change and filled 2 pint jars which I gave to the 2 kids in my family.

I was shocked when their mom told me they each got over $40.00.

That was more then I would have spent on a gift.

I called it my “Mad Money” and cashed it in at Christmas….One year I only had $32.00 and told the teller “well, I can’t get too mad with that amount”.
