Hi everyone,
I’m currently looking for a *free budgeting app* that can help me better manage my personal finances. I’ve tried a few in the past, but many of them either have limited features unless you pay, or they bombard you with ads and upsell attempts. What I need is something simple, user-friendly, and ideally available on both Android and desktop (but mobile is the priority).
I’m mainly looking to track income, categorize expenses, set spending limits, and maybe get some basic reports or visualizations.
Syncing across devices would be a big plus, but not a dealbreaker.
If you’ve had a good experience with a free app like this, I’d really appreciate your suggestions. Bonus points if it works offline too or doesn’t require linking to my bank account.
Thanks in advance!
DianeYou can always use an Excel Spreadsheet
RichNo need to.
Just go dumpster diving.
You will find tons and tons of free stuff.JulieThe Budget Mom! She’s on social media & has a library of tons of tools, plus her videos are incredible.
She amazing no matter where you’re at financially.
VirginiaHonestly I like a notebook and pen. I keep my receipts in the pockets of the notebook and track price increases.
It makes money more real when I have to write it down
SandraEveryDollar. A Ramsey app which is free, with a second model that is more detailed, linking it to your bank. App Store.
I’ve used it for years.
NadineTons out there.
I use “spending tracker”, brown wallet icon. It’s so simple and user-friendly but you can still customize things so that it makes sense for you.
LoganThe budget mom!!! I follow her program but use EveryDollar app to do a basic overview
