Hate how bananas go bad. Tried wrapping in foil completely and it works!
A week later only ripened a little.
FranMy husband just keeps them in the refrigerator. The skin turns brown, but the inside stays perfect.
MelissaI buy just 3. Just me and if I want more I can get more, but 3 is a good amount for a week. No waste.
I use the peels to make banana water for indoor plants and when the ground is thaw I randomly bury one near a tree, bush or in the garden, composting any others.
BrendaI tried everything and separating them works best, then I put them in the freezer for bread.
JennyWrap in paper towels separated. Put inside grocerie bag twist bag shut and place in fridge bottom draw.
I keep them good for seven days.
DuncanThey dont last long enough, I got 20, three days later all gone
PatriciaDo you wrap them individually? Also, do you keep the wrapped items in refrigerator?
