I already am creating my budget for April. I do not need help. I’m just sharing my (I think) frugal budget. Expected income for the month is $2,300. I have been doing good the last few months so far in 2025.

I’ve only purchased as soon as I run out of something, I’m trying to practice an underconsumption lifestyle.

I’m trying to focus more on bettering myself.

I’ve looked into getting a second source of income, but that is on hold for now and I’m not going to stress myself out by trying to manage too much on my plate.

          Good budget!
I’m so jealous of people who have savings and/or emergency fund.

Would you use your savings or emergency funds for anything you might need not on your list like clothes or footwear replacement, vehicle maintenence, hair cuts, gifts for occasions for friends or family, school supplies, any entertainment activities/social events ..

just wondering how you handle that stuff.

I find things are always popping up and only now trying to a prepared spender rather than always having zero money due to unexpected things that really are things I can and should plan for lol.

That leaves $720 or did I miss something?
            If you have no debt
            That’s thing one

Using the card if you pay it off is fine if that’s what you’re trying to do at credit
            Continue to save

Condense your list. Say Household is 40 and add it to grocery bill and delete household. Your usually going to get it while shopping anyway.

              Try to trim your list.

              It’ll help you.

You stated you aren’t interested in help but, just an fyi- there are some programs and some companies that give college students a discount on internet service.

Sounds like you’re off to a great start. Minimalistic way of life is doable. Always strive to live below your means.

You will go far! Proud of you

My biggest “no pain” economies have come from using half the recommended quantity of all personal/ household cleaning products, no disposables other than TP, and checking (and following) nutritional guidelines for protein serving quantities.

I also lend/ borrow/share as much as possible!

Sounds like you’re on the right track and have thought this through. Finish your education and keep moving forward.

                      Kudos.

                        All the best.

You are paying too much for your phone and internet. Pay off your credit card every month.

It’s good for your credit rating and this way you aren’t paying interest.

I think you could get less expensive automobile insurance too.

I love the 100 utilities because it gets hot. Our power bill here is 120 per week with no A/c, and temps can hit 40c.

                            That is with 5kw solar

What are you putting on the credit card that’s not included in your budget?

What do you do with extra $160 if you only put $140 on the card?

                              * I’m only coming up with $2200 total even maxing out credit card. Where’s the extra $100?

You can probably select cheaper plans for phone and internet. We use T-Mobile for Internet ($50/month) and Mint mobile for phone ($15/month + tax).
