No, that’s market timing. It never works out and typically people lose out on gains because of it.
BenjaminTime in the market beats trying to time the market. You’d likely lose out on more gains being in G because timing is impossible.

ErinI have my TSP in a mix of lifecycle funds and the C fund. The C fund mirrors the S&P 500 and the lifecycle funds are target retirement date funds, so it’ll automatically reallocate to different funds as you get closer to retirement
