Got married in March. Got a bunch of gold color ribbon and decor on clearance after Christmas. Worked out well.

Marry someone who doesn’t care about flowers or chocolate, and doesn’t like diamonds.

If you are thinking that cheaply about someone you are supposed to love before you get married it probably won’t last too long to cost you much.

Bwahaha I was married February 16th. The church was still all decorated from there valentines supper so we didn’t have to do anything.

              Smartest ever.
              Buy rings at a pawnshop.
Know your gems first, can get great deals.
Diamonds are not worth much once you buy them.

I don’t give a fig about Valentine’s day. I absolutely will accept and love 60% off Godiva or Lindt Chocolate.

Can also plant seeds prior so you have flowers for the day of. Way cheaper.

I’ve got zero interest in marriage or even dating, but that suggestion makes me think perhaps I should reconsider.

I already check out the day after Valentine’s sales every year; the only thing that could be better is having someone buying the stuff for me.

And don’t get married on Valentine’s Day because if you ever want to eat out with your loved one you were always have to wait in a big line.

My husband & I got married the day after Christmas. We paid nothing for extra flowers/decorations – everything was already beautifully decorated. AND, when you get married so close to a holiday, only people who really love you make the effort on the day after Christmas!! Lmao

Marry someone who hates to do the gift giving thing. It’s the BEST THING EVER!

That’s not frugal this is when it is cheap. 😀
