Specific to US, What do you guys do for health insurance coverage? I have recently lost my job and COBRA is expensive.

What other options do I have for insurance coverage, until I find my next job or if I decide to pursue business?

If in Mass, apply for Mass Health. It could be free but definitely I lot less then cobra.

Broker here. Depending on your state, you may have several options. Insurance through the exchange, directly through the health plan or short term medical.

          Which state are you located?

When did you lose your employer coverage?

So, in Washington state we have insurance brokers who can help you pick a plan that works for you in the Marketplace. It’s not necessarily like a handout or anything.

There would be help for you if your income is low. (I have to pay full price for my plan).

They should have something def cheaper than COBRA. Just depends on your needs.

I don’t know much about it, but some people get Marketplace insurance.

Marketplace. It has some surprisingly good options that are also affordable.
