I noticed the bathtub was draining slowly. Must be hair. Should snake it. Sighed at the cost to buy a snake at the local hardware. Went to thrift store.
They had a plastic “zip it” drain cleaner tool and it worked great. Paid a dollar.
Took five minutes of my time. I was so proud I bragged to my teenager.
TrevaI put a wire mesh strainer in our tubs. I clean them every shower. We have solved our slow drain problem.
No clogs in 30 years
MelBit the true test for miracle status is was ur teen impressed?
JessThats awesome! After paying 300 to a plumber to unclog my kitchen sink I now know there exist drano and several other brands that could have done the job
ValerieI love drain zips. They are also good for cleaning clogged vacumns.
AngelaI love those!!! We all have long hair so our drains need unclogging bimonthly, these are the best!
ShannonZip its are what we use in the hotel that I work at, fast, cheap, and they work most of the time.
In fact, if they don’t work I usually end up calling a plumber because it’s not a DIY clog at that point.
KellieI used one that plastic things down my kitchen drain one time and it broke off.
MicheleI use mine weekly. Never had a clogged bathroom tub drain in 15 years
