Don’t do it. The only person making Money is the salesman.
TomAnnuities are a poor investment – you’d be better off investing it on your own. It’s a different story if you’re looking at it as insurance of a minimum income vs an investment though.
NateIf you live in the US you already “invest” in an annuity called Social Security. I personally would diversify into low cost index funds in your retirement account and then maybe real estate.
DonGenerally speaking NONE are the best.
