I need advice. Idk if anyone can help me with my question. I’ve been racking my brain trying to come up with any way to make the most about of money in the smallest amount of time is there any passive income things I can try while working that will not cost any money to start?
Does anyone know something that works
MaryI reng out the master bedroom which has its own entrance so I get more. Other then screening tenants (which I use “smart move” for) and showing the room – I live in the SF bay area so that can usually be done with 1 open house on a weekend – there isn’t much work required.
I’m next to a university and 5 to 10 minutes from 2 major hospitals.
I mostly rent to medical workers or serious, busy graduate students.
I also have 2 dogs I sit for regular who both have separation enxiety and cant stay home alone. That only requires feeding, sometimes meds, and cuddling. That’s $70/ a night (which is low for my area. I see sitters on Rover charging $100+) so I can make $140 a night if they both stay over, not doing much except feeding them, playing in the yard, and giving cuddles).
Over the holidays both stayed for 2 about weeks on top of my regular hours the other 2 weeks plus I took on a third whose parents went away.
It was a very good easy-money month.
OlgaI am not sure such thing like making money out of thin air exists. You have to invest either money or sweat.
Passive income that takes no money is a fantasy.
ScottThe best general advice that you probably don’t want to hear is as follows: Don’t borrow for things that go down in value. Live on no more than 10% below your income.
Invest the difference in diversified funds that have a solid history of growth.
Maximize your value to the market place over time to increase your income.
It’s not sexy, and it’s not a quick fix. But it will work sooner than you think.
The tortoise beats the hare almost every time.
LexiThere is a podcast called The Side Hustle Show that has some great ideas.
My side hustle is Bank Bonuses
ChadI have seen tons of articles. Search for ‘side gigs’ and ‘passive income.’ There are so many things out there that without knowing you, it’s hard to say which one would be a good fit for you.
