How? I went to get my oil changed and I got high milage synthetic because I have over 207,000 miles on my car, I would have changed it at home but I don’t have any of the tools to lift the car up and get the oil change done myself nor do I know anyone that can do it.
Today’s service cost me over $100. It’s crazy!! Not even at the dealership either!!
HeidiI’m in AK – mine was $99 which included a 26 point inspection and topping off fluid.
TommyCall around next time and see who does it the cheapest. Always look for coupons also.
PatriciaYes, it’s quite costly now. I range about $60-70 each oil change. My vehicle is 20 years old.
CandiceYep, I had big o do mine, 100 bucks. My husband told me to have em do it since they fixed my car and it needed done….
BertAt least with synthetic you only have to change the oil every 10,000 miles
WendyIt’s expensive. I will pay an insured dealership. Store auto service can cause damage.
May be cheaper in short term but really expensive long term.
SuzanneWe have a local dealership that gives great deals on oil changes, ask on your local chatter page, there is a quick change place in town that does it for $35, probably $50 with synthetic
BrendaI check Groupon and dealer specials. I use full synthetic and can usually get a change for about $40-50 that way.
Regular price is $80-100.
JenThink of it this way: it is preventative care and maintenance, it’ll help prevent car issues and keep your car healthy in the long run.
MonicaThays about what I pay at Valvoline and they always want to sell some other thing too.
