I refuse to pay 50+ bucks for a basic manicure. Only problem with my stubbornness is I have horrible cuticles.
Of course it doesn’t help that I never wear gloves when doing dishes, cleaning or gardening.Found Sally’s for 6.00. Only takes a drop on each finger. First use saw considerable improvement.
Repeated it again 3 days later. Looks like I paid for that expensive manicure.
MelanieJust moisturize when applying lotion and take a minute to push them back daily.
Trim with a cuticle trimmer weekly.
LynNever have I ever said to myself That person has bad cuticles.
ShirleyThose of us with industrial cuticles understand this. I have been cutting mine weekly for decades.
That and moisturizer is all that works or they split.
CynthiaI use one made by Sally Hansen, it’s also around $6 at Walmart
NancyI like honey with grapeseed oil for cuticles.
Great for feet callous also.Apply, cover with plastic wrap (best if kept warm) for up to a hour.
I use a sharpish butter knife to scrape feet.
When feet are really bad I apply honey/oil, wrap with cotton strips, apply more honey/oil, then the plastic wrap.
Hubby loves it on his feet, and it’s easier when doing each other’s feet…
JenniferThank you for this information! I need something for my toe cuticles so that I’m not paying the 50 bucks for a pedicure.
BarbaraJust push them back with your towel after your shower and trim conservatively.
RitaThanks very much. I can do my own manicure but have struggled for years as my cuticles grow down my nail.
