After 17 years, my days with my phone provider are done. They are raising our bill $15 a month and we have reached our limit. I’m looking at T mobile’s over 50 plans and Consumer Cellular.
T-Mobile offers home WiFi in my area at half what I’m paying, so that’s A consideration.
Has anyone here had either of these? If so, were there any problems I should know about?
Thank you.
ShaneWe have tmobile with the home internet (it’s really a hot spot) and my wife stays at home streaming all day and we’ve never noticed it slowing down or anything like that.
Overall, we’re pretty happy with it.

MerryleeI’ve had T-mobile for nearly four years and am quite pleased with them.
JanetI have used Straight Talk (through Walmart) for about ten years. Never had any problems with it, it is month to month, no contracts, I can cancel today with no termination penalties.
Unlimited calls and texting, my internet access is limited on the plan I chose but it works for my needs, and there are also plans with unlimited everything.
You can pay monthly or purchase cards to put money on. I pay monthly automatically out of my checking account but it’s your choice.
I buy my phone up front so no big phone payments or rentals.
I think now you can even bring a phone you have used previously. Worth checking out.
