Hi everyone! I’m searching for creative, budget-friendly ideas for a cozy date night at home. Something simple, fun, and memorable would be perfect!

Do you have any suggestions for activities, meals, or setups that create a romantic vibe without breaking the bank?

Can’t wait to hear your ideas!

Turn the phones off, turn the lights off and snuggle under a blanket with your feet up and enjoy a movie.

Big bowl of popcorn or your favorite snack. Couple of drinks in your most fancy glasses. Or if you want to do dinner, get out the fancy dishes and glasses and light some candles.

But always TURN THE PHONES OFF!

Make it about each other, forget the rest of the world if only for a couple hours!

Other than cooking, baking, movies and games…
Maybe try to find an online trivia night?

Christmas light Tour! We love driving around to different neighborhoods to see all the beautiful decorations and lit up streets.

Dollar Tree Arts and Crafts night. I’ve made some beautiful house decor with materials from dollar tree! Or hobby lobby/michaels discounted rack.

Christmas movie marathon. My husband and I love watching the corny Hallmark movies.

Cookie decorating contest! Premade Walmart sugar cookies, icing, sprinkles.

Pickleball. I’ve found cheaper sets on Amazon, and party city
            “Chopped” home style.

Each of you put together a basket for the other to make and serve
Nice walk through a decorated downtown or beach front
Apple cider, hot chocolate, mulled wine cozy night in

This sounds fun to me: game night. I’m thinking board games, card games. If you don’t have any, borrow from local library.

Or thrift stores have them cheap.

Or cards at dollar store. Even if you do video games together it can be fun.

-cheap play doh or clay set and make different things with them
-cooking/food ideas: make homemade pizzas, ice cream sundaes, bake/decorate cookies

                -decorate gingerbread houses
                -build a blanket fort

-paint each other’s portraits (or something else)
                -card games/board games

-mad libs can be pretty funny, there are some online too
-if you play video games try a new one together
                -follow a dance lesson video

-try different acro/stunts together (please be careful lol)
-walk around the neighborhood and play I Spy

-make a scavenger hunt either indoors or out
                -make an obstacle course

if you have a dvd player (or something like a game console that can play DVDs or blu ray movies), use your library card to borrow movies for a movie night.

a nice walk outside or a picnic in the park is great when the weather cooperates.

not quite “at home” but much cheaper than a lot of other possibilities.

jigsaw puzzles and board games are really pleasant to do together.

Try to find your favorite dish at a local restaurant then try to find the copy cat recipe!

Then you can make it at home and avoid the high prices!

Something sparkling also helps for beverages!

                      Have a drawing night.
Draw each other and use colored pencils.

It is humorous and enlightening how you both see each other.
