Many of us have leftover paints, colored materials, or even empty cases that we no longer use. Instead of discarding them, are there any innovative ways to repurpose or recycle these items?
Whether for art, DIY projects, or something entirely unexpected, I’d love to hear your ideas!
SarahUse the case for left over lipsticks. Empty the containers into each dish to use what’s left.
TeresaEyeliner brush. The blue would look great as eyeliner.
KarenWow! Good use of the case! The two colors you have left are the ones I use the most.
Blue and purple.
ChristieI’ve heard (but never tried) that you can add the pigment to nail polishes
TammiI say you’ve gotten your money’s worth out of that one! Don’t feel bad about tossing it.
StephanieWhen faced with this situation or a broken palette, I’ve crushed the pigment and stored it in a small container – readily available at dollar stores or in makeup and craft sections – then used it as a loose powder pigment.
SarahYou could tint lipglosses. Put the shadow into clear nail polish.
CarolinaIf you work with polymer clay, eyeshadow is a great colorant.
