I love Christmas! I don’t give gifts. I cook and invite people. I drive and look at Christmas lights. I have a beautiful Christmas tree.
I donate to Salvation Army and our local mission. I attend free events and Christmas church programs.
And lastly, if someone gifts me a present I thank them warmly but I don’t reciprocate and don’t feel bad about it.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, Friends!
MartyWe are unable to afford gifts. We do give our son some money for Christmas. That is all we can actually do.
My husband had to go on SSDI due to two brain surgeries.
We spend a nice Christmas at my brothers, attend Christmas Eve church services, drive around and look at lights, decorate our home, I bake, we watch Christmas specials.
I still love Christmas.
I don’t expect any gifts. I’m just happy to have my husband alive with me at Christmas.
JacquelineI bet most kids would love the gift of a parent putting their phone down more for them.
I’m not able to get my son a lot this year, but I’m going to try and gift him with more of my time and attention.
LynneMy family and I agreed to the NO GIFT rule two decades ago. We have enjoyed the Holidays SO MUCH MORE since then!
MonicaWhat a wonderful and beautiful way to celebrate Christmas… as it should be.
LingSame here, time spent together is more meaningful than a gift. I offer my friendship, time, help to do something, chinese cooking lessons etc …my Xmas has been to see all the decor in nyc this year.
Nice to know there are like minded folks.
