Book reccomendations for a 15 year old boy? He needs to read a financial book for school (along the lines of Rich Dad Poor Dad, Richest Man Babylon, etc.)

Ideally, the book should be engaging, easy to understand, and suitable for a teenager who’s just starting to learn about money management, investing, and financial independence.

If you have any personal favorites or hidden gems that had an impact on you at a young age, I’d love to hear your suggestions!

      Thanks in advance!

The Wealthy Barber is an engaging and relatable read for that age.

Art of the Deal by Donald Trump.

Politics aside, it would be good for him to learn how to negotiate and seal deals, even turning unsavoury parties to your favour.

Quit like a millionaire. The authors also write children’s books.

Definitely rich dad poor dad. The author is kind of a scam artist, but the book has some good concepts and is completely age-appropriate.

You’re Money or your Life. Good intro to FIRE and starting to think of your purchases as time purchases instead of money purchases.

The Millionaire Fastlane, by MJ Demarco. One of the only financial books that I read where I repeatedly thought “I wish someone had explained this to me in high school”

Lifeonaire – definitely reads better as a story rather than just input output info.

Just the random thought that came to mind

Just go with the Richest Man in Babylon. It has very easy concepts for a teenager to understand and is a foundational piece towards starting a personal finance journey. – I personally hated Rich Dad Poor Dad and thought it was by far the worst popular finance book anyone could read.
