File a claim with your credit card company

Do they have a Facebook page? Start by publicly shaming them. Write a complaint comment on their social media accounts.

Write a publicly shareable complaint on your own home page and tag their business and and ask your friends to share.

Sadly, private communications often get ignored.

These days you have to start a smear campaign to get their attention. Leave reviews on google and yelp as well.

Caution others against doing business with them.

Statutory charge back on your credit card. Call your bank or cc company and file a complaint

Sometimes there’s a misunderstanding. It really wasn’t enough facts to give good advice.

I mean did they say they delivered?

are you sure they went to the right address, did they bring you the wrong product, is there a return procedure in place, did somebody write down the wrong product number?

sounds like they delivered something but it wasn’t what you wanted.

But I’m not exactly sure maybe they didn’t deliver at all so I don’t know how to respond.

I worked in customer service for a long time so getting the facts in order make it easier to figure out the best solution.

File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

File a claim with the credit card company. If you paid cash then small claims court.

Call the better business bureau and file a complaint. Talk to the Consumer Protection Bureau which should have an office at your State Attorney Generals office.

If you are 60 or over you can also talk to the AG Office Senior Services.

If you did this business over the internet, there are other laws that apply.

Make sure you document your own efforts to get a refund with a record showing date, who you talked to, what was said.

Submit a fraud with your cc company?

It’s NOT fraud. Please do not call the financial institution and report fraud.

Call the financial institution and ask to submit a DISPUTE for a product fulfillment error.

You will need to submit all your communication with the company as backup that you tried to settle it with them first.

                      It’s a pretty easy process.

Did you pay with a credit card? If yes then contact the credit card and they will refund you the money.

They may ask what you have done to resolve the matter.

Just explain what you have done and usually the credit card company will reverse the charge.

If you paid cash or by check, then you may be out of luck.

Honestly. In the past I’ve bombarded places with phone calls so much that they gave up and gave me the refund.

I’m talking calling from multiple phones even.

I used my cell, my husband’s cell, and maybe the landline.

So, while I was on hold I was still contacting them.

There was something satisfying about the sigh of a person realizing it’s you again.

Some places just try to wear you out till you give up and it works 90% of the time.

I’m the type that I will wear you out.

If it’s a valid claim that they’ve scammed you then I’d be persistent without breaking any laws of course.

I did this once, but when I filed a complaint with CC they wanted proof that I never received the product. How do you prove it.? Lol. Company didn’t provide tracking number because they never sent it. But CC wouldn’t block the payment. I dropped that CC right away.
