I went to pick up my insulin today. Original price $458. Went to the insulin manufacturer website, filled out a simple form, and only paid $35!! If you or someone you know depends on insulin, please check into this.

I went through Novo Nordisk. That is a HUGE savings and I am so thankful someone told me about it!

I was just hoping to help someone else who may be struggling.

This has been going on for years. If meds are too costly, always contact the manufacturer.

          Many have assistance programs

It’s sad that you must go thru that process, should always be $35.

Just like hospitals, drug manufactures take public funding. Because they take that public funding they are required to have programs to assist people in need.

If you can not afford your healthcare ask whoever you are seeing about a sliding fee scale.

Private practice clinics and physicians may not offer any services to included accepting government funded insurances but hospitals and drug companies generally offer big assistance.

              Always ask!!

There are manufacturer program assistance for Medicare patients if you meet the income guidelines. For oral medications and insulin and GLP 1 injectables.

Just know Medicare and Medicaid patients cannot get the extra help. Along with Tricare.
