Does anyone have any experience using Netflix with ads? Other than having to sit through the ads, is there any difference between this and Netflix without ads?
How does Netflix’s ad-supported plan compare to the ad-free plan? What are the key differences in terms of content availability, video quality, and overall user experience?
If you’ve tried both, which do you prefer and why?
RobinThere really aren’t many ads, less than network TV advertisements.
SweetI use Netflix with ads. There are a few movies that I don’t have access too because I have the ad version, but I’ve been able to watch 98% of what I’ve wanted.
MariaI have the one with ads….they are very minimal, 30sec, and sometimes I don’t even notice them.
DanaeMy boyfriend used to insist we do without ads. I told him we should try it with ads and he hasn’t complained once.
It has been probably 6 months.
AlenaAs others have said, you don’t get access to ALL of the content but you most. I signed up specifically because a movie I wanted to watch was only on Netflix and then found out I couldn’t get it with ads.
Of course, I watched other stuff and cancelled after a month.
You can’t really see what’s restricted until you’ve already signed up.
Or maybe you can and I just don’t know how.
CallieSupposedly, you won’t get access to anything Netflix licensed as ad-free, but I don’t know what those titles are (I canceled mine until Wednesday and Stranger Things comes back, since I can get most of the movies free through the library).
