SO SO Excited! And I know y’all will understand. M(44) and F(43) just made our LAST mortgage payment. No more debt, y’all…

Cars have been paid off long ago.
We are excited to have extra 2k per month.

We currently only have accounts on E-trade platform and an account with Edwards Jones Consultant. We are maxing out Roth IRA and 401ks as well.

Our boys (2 under 9) will have the GI bill to fall back to if they decide to go to college.

How would you invest the money?

Put half in Tech ETFs because AI and Internet expansion is still happening worldwide

YAY for you guys!! That’s amazing!
I’d start building my bridge account into a brokerage account with VOO, VTI or VTSAX.

Dump all of your retirement funds into a fund that mimics the S&P 500; and given your ages; forget about it for the next 20 to 25 to 30 years.

Get rid of Edward Jones and learn to manage your money on your own
Vanguard is a great place to start
