What are thoughts on use of an HYSA with a debit card as a checking account? What has been your experience with Wealthfront? Do you recommend something else?
GenI advise against it. You can only pull from a HYSA 6 times a month without penalties. Also, HYSA is for large savings, like the emergency fund, vacation, and a new car.
I like Ally because the savings can be separated into buckets.
Once you start pulling money from HYSA, you may be tempted to overspend. Best to leave it alone.
I advise using a checking account for monthly bills and small purchases.MarkUse ur brokerages MMF. same apy and 100% liquid. No restrictions on withdrawals or min amount.
GonzaloNope. HYSAs limit the amount of monthly withdrawals.
D.E.I love Wealthfront. Wouldn’t go with anyone else.
