So cool to see my 2011 Toyota Camry spin towards the big 100k mark because it reminds me that I have no car payments & the last debt I’m (strategically) holding onto is a tiny mortgage.
This feels successful to me because I’ve had a long and tumultuous fiscal ride through my life & feel secure even as I watch much of my retirement investments tank over the last week.
Not sure if I’ll be able to FIRE like y’all, but this feeling of financial stability is worth all the work (so much work) I’ve put in .
AllisonYou got this! The 200k and 300k marks feel even better! I’m chasing 400k on one of mine!
ZacheryYou’re winning at life in a big way! Just make sure you maintain it well and do all the preventative care.
You DO NOT have to do this at a Toyota dealership.
A local shop will change much less! I still got 46 months of payments on my new WRX.
But my goal is to keep it for 10+ years
SeanGreat job! Stop worrying about your retirement investments. Markets go up and down.
Enjoy the sales.
FarreThe 200k mark is my next big target. My dad had a similar model and made it that far, so I’m hopeful!
peterI’m right behind ya! Have a ’11 Camry that will cross the 100k mark in a couple months.
KarenLove it! Our Sienna is is still going strong at 250k…sounds like Toyota is the way to go for long lasting vehicles
