So far I have invested all my retirement pensions into vanguard S&P500 (VUG). Should I invest future retirement funds into some other ETFs to diversify or okay to build further in S&P500?

I need to invest around £40k in next few days through my personal pension plan.

I am 45 years old and plan to work for another 15 yrs plus. Any advise would be helpful.

      Thanks

I like to diversify a bit out of large cap US, so I own some international and some small/mid cap index funds

“£40k”? You believe people in US smarter than people in UK? Some US, some international I would say

If you’re open to diversification away from traditional assets (stocks, ROTH IRA) then it’s only right to look into decentralized finance and digital assets as they offer a better alternative both as a hedge against inflation and as a better performing asset class.

It also affords more control to you as an investor as you are not dependent on the movement of the stock market for your returns.

Allocating a small % of your portfolio to it is a good first step

What this will depend what country you’re in… I’m not sure what the rules are for distributions from retirement plans in countries other than the United States… But I know in the USA, you will not need to take RMD’s until age 75 (under SECURE 2.0) … but regardless, I believe that the best long-term vehicle for wealth generation is a fund that mimics the S&P 500.
