What are a few things that are cheaper to make at home than buying at the store. Looking for any suggestions
I’m looking for suggestions on items—whether food, household products, or anything else—that are more cost-effective to make at home.
With prices going up on just about everything, I’d love to hear what others are doing to save money by making their own versions instead of purchasing them ready-made.
For example, some people say making your own bread or cleaning supplies can be significantly cheaper (and sometimes even better quality). Others mention things like granola, yogurt, or spice mixes.
I’m open to all kinds of suggestions—food items, personal care products, DIY home essentials, or anything else that helps stretch the budget.
If you’ve tried making something at home and found it to be a great way to save money, I’d really appreciate if you could share it. Bonus points if it’s easy and doesn’t require a ton of special tools or ingredients!
Thanks in advance for your ideas!
BiancaNot necessarily HUGE cost savings but I make my own coffee creamer.
Mostly because the ones with more clean ingredients tend to be pricey

StaffordStock! Save bones and veggie scraps in the freezer until you have enough for a batch…
