I have been approved for the robinhood gold card and used it for 3 months. 0 international fees and 3% cashback on everything, money is redeemed immediately on your brokerage account or as statment credit. And you get the 3% even abroas.
Honestly, it’s so good to be true that i keep asking myself where is the catch.
Can anyone tell me where the catch is so I can protect myself in the future?
RickCash back cards have little to no catch.
As long as you ignore points sign up rewards and their best reward leverage.I have achieved $4k spend ($120 with 3% cash back) to get 100k UR points from chase to then use 8k points to get a hotel night in Toronto worth $190 leaving 92k points to use.
Cash back has its place but it is not the ultimate earner outside of comparing to cards earning near no rewards.
WilsonAlso, US Bank released a card that can earn up to 4% back on all spend. Some more hoops to jump through like opening up a couple of accounts and keeping cash and/or investments with them.
