I’m considering investing with ARK Financial and would love to hear some insights. Have you had any experience with them?

What are the pros and cons of investing with ARK, and are there any key factors I should be aware of before making a decision?

Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

The answers today are VERY different than they were in 2020 through mid-2021.

Don’t. The last time that was popular here was early 2021. All of these amateurs here thought they were being smart and savvy by getting in then and then they go to watch the whole thing crash.

Any asset that gets popular and bubbles up here is destined for a fall, because its always people chasing recent performance.

This is exactly why most amateurs underperform index funds.

I wouldn’t touch anything that Cathie touches. I started harvesting losses recently.

I enjoy watching her speak, but I don’t know if I would invest with her. Even if you believe in her general outlook, which I’m hopeful of, the expense ratios are ridiculous.

That said, they could pay off big. Even after underperforming for a while.

If I were going to pay high expense ratios, I would probably lean towards Tom Lee’s granny shots over ark. I think he’s more balanced and pragmatic.

The fund has too many distributions(taxable) and does not have the long term track record of an S&P fund

Wouldn’t bother. She’s a stock picker that had a 1-3 year run of success that has come and gone.

People have investment strategies aimed at shorting her funds.

I’m going to guess most people here would say the advice is don’t invest.

It is more speculation than it is investing given the sector and companies owned.

It would have been better if Ark had not touched Teladoc Health. Genetics one has some hope but too risky.
