Any good Retirement calculators out there for those of us with pensions?
I would like to make 125kPer year in retirement without taking any withdrawals other then dividends and capital gains. This assumes a paid off house.
Pension is 60k a year and adjusted for inflation each year.
My initial Thoughts are 1 million in stocks / bonds, plus 60k Pension should be a pretty safe bet.But wondering if I could get away with close to 750k and have a little more play money now while raising kids.
Joe125-60=a 65k shortfall that your portfolio must provide. Using the 4% rule you need a portfolio balance of 1.625 million.
CarolynProjectionLab is a pretty sweet tool, not really a calculator though. But is able to factor in expenses, income, etc
RobinI don’t know your age but will you also have social security at some point?
