Hello. What is the most cost-effective way to purchase garlic???? I was buying my fresh garlic at Sam’s but it’s getting very dry too fast.

Do you find better deals at supermarkets, farmers’ markets, or in bulk from wholesalers? Are there specific seasons or regions where garlic is cheaper?

Any tips for storing it to maximize freshness and value?

      Thank you.

Perhaps you could grow it in a large pot (from a thrift store) from a clove you bought…

I buy fresh, chop and freeze it. Same with onions. It works a charm.

The one in the jar! Pre chopped and easy to use. Last longer too

I puree and freeze in ice cube trays for later use. One cube is about 3 cloves.

I buy crushed frozen garlic at Trader Joe’s. Never have go worry about it going bad.

I’m lazy and buy the minced in oil. I did plant some in the fall, though, so perhaps I’ll change my ways.
