Can I just brag on my 391,000Km honda civic for a moment? I forgot to plug her (,engine block heater) in last night and she started up first try this morning in nearly -50!

Something to be said about the reliability of hondas.

I will never again buy anything other than Hondas or Toyotas.

One of my coworkers was just bragging on her (2008, I believe) Civic hitting 346k miles!

        That’s almost 557k km

Congrats. Unfortunately the problem I have with my daughter 250.000 miles accord is that people keep rear ending her and the insurance always want to total it.

I love Hondas and Toyotas but we bought a brand new Honda Civic for my son in late 2023

and there were several recalls last year. And now we are dealing with a break issue.

Quite disappointed that the new models are not holding up to the standards of older vehicles.

Completely respect the sentiment, but I bet there are manufacturing differences between your old Honda and the ones being made today.

I had a Nissan Hyundai and Pontiac all make it over 200,000 miles. The Nissan and Pontiac were probably just under 300,000 before I sold them still running and driving.

My 2012 pilot had about 277000 miles on it a year ago when we swapped with my aunt for her 2015 pilot.

I think it’s got about 291000 on it now.
