Fzrox or vstax?
I’m 53 with 40 grand to invest plus 4 grand a month.for 15 years WWYDI’m planning to invest $40K upfront with an additional $4K per month for the next 15 years. I’m considering between FZROX and VTSAX.
Given the expense ratios, tax efficiency, and long-term growth potential, which one would be the better choice?
I prefer a hands-off, long-term investment strategy. Are there any key differences I should consider before making a decision?
JohnI believe the funds are essentially the same, other than the fees. I’d go with the lower fees.
GonzaloI assume that your account is at Fidelity, because FZROX is only available at Fidelity.
If you plan to never leave Fidelity, I suppose that FZROX is the better choice since it has a 0.00 expense ratio (ie, fees).
RandyAt $4k a month for 15 years, either is fine. Pick the one with lowest expense ratio. ABB…always be buying. Markets up or down, keep going no changes.
Ignore News headlines. ABB. Hope for 7+% returns long term.
