Any frugal tips or solutions on how to get my kitchen warm?
Forced air oil heat. Single zone thermostat. Vents in the kitchen don’t seem to blow as strong as the others do.

We insulated the rim joist in the basement and the kitchen walls. Windows and doors are weatherproofed.

      Thanks

My mom would leave the oven on with a couple of clean bricks inside it. Or she would have a large pot of water on a low simmer.

        It made a difference.

Use a fan on low to blow warm air in from the rest of the house?

I bought an electric radiant heater. Doesn’t pull a lot of electricity and it’s not a fire hazard.

After baking, open the oven door. Seal off drafty outlets. Use washable rugs on kitchen floors to make them warmer.
