My IPad died on me and I got a new one. My daughter told us of a kiosk locally that would buy it. She says it’s safe but our son disagrees with that.

Anyone have any experience with selling an old device?

An Apple store might give you some money for it, but I am not sure.

I have kept all of mine for security reasons. Not worth the risk.

They pay so little for tablet that we decided just to keep it. they offered us $18 for my daughter‘s iPad mini.

I gasped and they uped the offer to $23 best and final.

            it was not broken either.

You would have to be able to do a factory reset

I have. It’s safe, in my experience, but follow the instructions. Make sure that you delete your data.

I did one for an old iPhone I had. Just made sure it was wiped and factory reset.

If it died, I’d be happy to take anything I got. You might get five or $10. But if it’s dead, I’d take the five bucks.

Use the kiosk for a phone before not for an iPad or something larger

Might be just battery that went out. Replace only cost 30.00 on Amazon. Let family member use it.
