Grocery apps have digital coupons. To really cut costs, use your existing items, avoid excess purchases, plan meals with seasonal produce and buy generics.

They’re not anywhere near as prolific or as high value as they used to be. Recently I got a Sam’s club membership at half off foe the first year so $25.

Even with my once yearly 25% off at wal-mart I can’t beat their prices on most of what I buy for paper goods, chemicals, and a few food items.

Even with coupons, I would still be paying the same or more. My sister has a Costco membership. The prices are slightly higher but still cheaper.

Coupons aren’t necessarily the best deal anymore.

I will also comparison shop against Amazon by scanning barcodes as I shop. Sometimes it’s cheaper to order it than pay grocery store prices.

I still get coupons in the mail for fast food places which I rarely use. My local grocery store has a kiosk in the entry that you can print coupons specifically for their store OR if you have a “more rewards”
number at their store you get automatic savings on certain items.

Self printing of the coupons for some senior shoppers is problematic as they struggle with the technology side of it.

I live in Nevada and our main grocery stores are Albertsons and Smith’s. Both have apps where you sign up for an account.

Every week they show the digital coupons and you click the ones you want.

Albertsons also has Rewards that are based on total spent and gives free stuff when redeemed. Smith’s has a cash back section in addition to the coupons.

When you stack coupons and use them on items already on sale you can save a lot.

I joined a local couponing group that shows the best deals each week. I always save at least 30%.

The best I did was paying $17 for over $120 worth of groceries. It takes a bit of time but totally worth it.

Kroger digital saved me almost 50% today! Johnsonville brats were half off. A great deal!

We get a very small insert of coupons in our weekly delivery of supermarket circulars. But I don’t think I have clipped a single one in more than a year.

We mostly buy store brands, and look on the store app for specials and coupons.
