I’ll be traveling to the US soon. What are some useful coupon apps that I should download to save some money?

Are there any good coupon or discount apps that you’d recommend for a visitor? I’m mainly looking for deals on groceries, restaurants, shopping, and possibly transportation.

Ideally, I’d prefer apps that are easy to use and don’t require a US phone number or address.

Any suggestions or personal favorites would be much appreciated!

The Love’s app for gas! 10 cents off per gallon. We’re currently crossing across the country now and it 10 cents per gallon really add up!

Plus Loves usually has clean bathrooms and are well lit, making it safer than other places.

Maybe Groupon or Too Good to Go if you are in a big city.

Big cities have CityPass for tourist attractions. Look for hop on Hop off busses/ trolley

Depends on what part of the country you’re visiting. Groupon and Tripadvisor tend to have the best offers/suggestions.

I use Google Earth to take a virtual tour of where I am staying before I arrive as well.

You can Google the areas you will be going to and see what restaurants, supermarkets, shops, fast food, etc are nearby.

Then see if they have an app or even special deals on their website.

I don’t eat at McDonald’s very often, but they have good deals on their app. Fast casual restaurants have coupons for 20% off or possibly meal specials.

When we eat out on vacation, we usually split meals because they give you so much food.

And although we bring home leftovers when eating near home, we may not have a refrigerator or a way of reheating leftovers when on vacation.

Grocery store apps as most require it to get good sales. Drug store apps. Same. Fast food apps always offer a bonus.

Research what is around where you will be and go from there

I have all restaurants, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Subway, etc. Flashfood is awesome when there’s a store in the area.

It just searches the map wherever you are.

You buy food that will out date soon at very cheap directly on the app and pick it up later.
