Do you shop grocery sales? What’s the easiest way to know what’s on sale???
Do you rely on store apps, coupon websites, weekly flyers, or any other methods?

SandraThe flipp app shows the circulars of most stores in your area. Most stores have websites or apps you can download and see prices.
CindyI found the best way to save money is to do online grocery pick ups to save money.
You can see the different prices of each item
RachelTrack the prices on 5 items that you either buy often or that are expensive and necessary. Think bread, toilet paper, milk etc.
Look at online ads for local grocery stores to get what their prices are when it’s on sale too.
After a few weeks you will start to see trends and what a low price on those items looks like.
RhondaIf I forget to grab the paper with sales, I shop the meat department first. Then I plan meals around the meat.
It’s always the most expensive part of the meal.
ElizabethAll the time. I remember in the 1980s, the Sunday paper had all of the local store ads. They all had coupons to cut out.
The stores would either double or triple the coupons, on top of having the items on sale.
So, if mac and cheese were on sale 5 boxes for $1.00, there were usually 20 cent off 5 boxes coupons, doubled for 40 cents off, you would pay 60 cents for 5 boxes.
I would shop at all of the three main stores, matching the coupons and sales for the best deals. I had a one hundred dollar budget for me and my son.
I could get $200 worth of groceries playing the coupon/sale game! Wish they still did that.
JudeStores usually post their sales on their website. The items on the first page are usually those that have the lowest prices compared to the regular price.
You can check the sales on multiple stores in your area.
We often build our meals around what is on sale.
DebraI shop online and either pick it up or have it delivered if it’s free. On the Kroger app there’s a weekly ad button that brings up the sale items.
There’s also a digital coupon button. I look at the “buy again” section bc it will let me know if something is on sale that I like.
I stock up if a favor item like olives is BOGO and they send me a coupon for a free item.
Last week it was a loaf of bread
