On my last shopping order, they substituted an 8-pack of 7-oz cans of tuna for one massive 66-oz can.

We are allergic to dairy, milk, cream, cheese, and butter (any dairy or dairy item)

Do you have any ideas on how to use up this massive can?

When the kitchen I worked for closed during covid, I was gifted 3 of these cans.

I seperated into freezer ziplocks, patted flat and froze. worked wonderful

Call the store and ask for a refund. Nobody can use that!

Honestly, I would return it, that’s an insane amount of tuna to open at once

If you cannot return the tuna or exchange, then freeze the unused amount in serving size portions.

Tuna Pattie’s— mix in eggs, green onions, breadcrumbs & seasoning. Fry in olive oil.

Freeze a bunch of the Pattie’s uncooked so you can grab a few for a quick dinner.

You can have them on buns like a burger or just on a plate with some sides.

We’d get this size when we were an organization that fed people lunch.

I’d take it back and if they exchange it and tell you to keep it, donate it to a soup kitchen

Freeze the extra in muffin tins. Make tuna burgers without cheese, make a tuna loaf like a meatloaf, make tuna sandwiches for lunch

In college, I used to saute a can of tuna with veggies. Before my egg allergy joined my life, and current pricing, I would throw an egg in with it.

                        High protein. Cheap.

Great way to add veggies to your diet.

I’m not saying you will trick yourself into thinking it’s a tuna steak or anything.

But I still make it and love it.

I don’t allow them to substitute anything

I say tuna casserole or like tuna patties. I am now allergic to most fish but I used to dump a lot of tuna cans into tuna casserole

I was given a plate w/ tuna a little onion mixed in the tuna inside a hollowed out tomato.

The stuff from the tomato was mixed into the tuna too.

It was really good. Maybe add some cut up pickle to the mix.
