I purchased Seventh Generation Free and Clear Dishwasher Detergent Powder, which I had read about in this forum.

it still smells so strong, and I’m filling the cup only halfway.

Better/other options?

Remove filters. I had alot of greasy build up in mine. Dawn will cut thru that. I had to run dw several times to make sure it was clean. Citric acid or packet of lemon koolaid. I also did the vinegar thing since I had so much grease. I was told to use dw tabs that have the red ball in the middle- “finish” I think it was. Anyway I bought the packs as I couldn’t find the tablets. Tablets work better.

Clean the filter and use lemi shine! It is amazing stuff!

Try vinegar- you can put it in washing machine to get rid of odors in clothes and vinegar and baking soda in carpet.

Clean the filter in the bottom of your dishwasher, google make and model as they are all different.
